Oh my gosh this book was so awesome when are you going to write more? *stops to breathe*Kerry got his own story! If you've already read "Someone's Favorite", where Lowell from "My Partner & Me" (Hollis Shiloh) got his redemption, then you'll recall Lowell making a new friend named Kerry in the club. Well, this is Kerry's story, and it is just as good as the previous book. We get to know all about him and what makes him so quiet and shy. He is just the sweetest little thing, and Brendan had the perfect name for him, "Kerry-bug". Brendan was a really great guy, and I liked that in this he realized that the perfect guy for him didn't have to fit the ideal in his head. Instead he found love in someone who was the exact opposite of his ideal. There is intimacy here, but not actual intercourse, but that's okay because this story focuses more on love and romance and 2 people just really getting to know each other on every possible level. Brendan's family was awesome and I loved the very unique idea the author came up with of how they came to be a family. I don't know what else to say except that I really enjoyed this book and look forward to more. I even love the cover!

Interesting, soft, and sweet. The characters are well thought out and surprisingly well developed in this novella. The story isn't over the top flashy but a lot more like real life making it very relatable and believable.
This was a really sweet short story. The characters had a nice chemistry and even though there wasn't a big conflict to deal with, the story kept me interested and invested. I recommend it )
Sweet, uplifting, affirming, gentle and fierce - I loved this book. The characters are great - and I loved the mention of Lowell and Adam.You don't have to have high drama and angst to have a real and compelling story.
his is a sweet kind romance between Kerry and Brenden. It unfolds gently and you get to spend time with two lovely heroes.
Slow burn and kiss and healing and joy.
Oh!! Another gentle romance. I really like both Kerry and Brendan. Seeing things from Brendan’s POV was lovely because he’s so funny! The conversations he has with his mother are priceless. Such a funny guy 😂
And Kerry seems more delicate. His family is just awful, especially his mother. I’d definitely do a Brendan and smack her, right after politely greeting her, followed by an immediate goodbye and a warning never to call again. Good thing she never actually shows up in the book!
Anyways, love the gentle romance and the funny dialogues and adorable characters. Love it!!
